She was born September 4, 1917, in Townsend, Tennessee the daughter of the late Daniel Wesley and Sarah Jane (Patty) Caylor.
She was a member of Guthrie United Methodist Church. She was a loyal farmer’s wife, loved her family and loved caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Clemie Stooksbury; one son Clayton Daniel Stooksbury; two brothers Odis and Raymond Caylor and two sisters Hazel Drinnen and Oca Morris.
She is survived by one son John Brickey Stooksbury of Allensville, Kentucky; one daughter Mary Alice Coombs of Crofton, Kentucky; one sister Irene White of Greenback, Tennessee; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
