Augusta Mosher an old and highly respected former resident of Presque Isle, died 10-21-1916 at the hospital in Bangor, after a long period of illness. She was the daughter of the late David and Katherine DeWitt and was born 7-31-1848 in Maxfield, ME. She came with her parents to Presque Isle in the early days and married George Mosher. Interment Fairmount cemetery.
