Mr. Woodrum was born Jan. 28, 1905 in Niantic, the son of Zeoris Byron and Dalris Paul Woodrum. He married Pauline Foster on July 29, 1933. She died April 6, 1947. He the married Dorothy McGuire on April 2, 1954.
Surviving are his wife, sons, Burhl and wife Rita of Decatur; John and wife Judy of Rock Island; daughters, Barbara Wilson, Sandra Hodges, Charlotte Logan and her husband Dan, all of Decatur; Eleanor Lott and husband Frank of Pismo Beach, Calif.; stepchildren, Donald McGuuide and wife Charlotte of Oklahoma; Donna Buser and husband Don Eloise McGuire, Ethel Jones and husband Gene, all of Decatur; 47 grandchildren; 101 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Roderick and Etta Kirby, both of Decatur; brother Byron "Jim" Woodrum, all of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one stepdaughter, Margie Fisher, three brothers, one grand-daughter and two great-grandchildren.
