Andrew was bound out by his father to pay for the families passage. Came to America in 1744 on the ship, St Andrew. Andrew Kersh married March 25, 1788 to Eve Margareta Geysler. Andrew died about 1805. Andrew Kersh received 2 land grants. One of them was for 113 acres in Richland, Craven County on July 26, 1766, and the other was for 700 acres in Orangeburg District on Four Holes Swamp June 5, 1805. Andrew Kersh served in the Revolutionary War in the 6th SC Regiment, enlisting June 23, 1777.
