Maudie Lou Davenport, age 85, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away March 26, 2015. She was born August 15, 1929, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to Zenus and Maud (Gray) Boone.

Maudie enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed playing the game Wahoo. Maudie was an avid fan of "Wheel of Fortune." She and her husband, Walt, enjoyed going to the horse races, taking cruises and traveling. Maudie was a homemaker and she worked for Wonder Bread Company before retiring after 30 years of service. She then worked part-time for the Mustang Walmart and retired from there at the age of 82. Maudie was a hard worker and she had a spit-fire personality and was very strong-willed. Her first love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Maudie is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Preston, of Yukon, OK and Redfox Brashier, of Mustang, OK; grandsons, Noah Adams & wife Traci Carter, of Lake Jackson, TX and Jesse Adams & wife, Lora, of Yukon, OK; granddaughter, Piper Adams; brother, Bart Boone, Davenport, OK. She is preceded in death by her father, Zenus Boone; mother, Maud Boone; her husband, Walt Davenport; 3 brothers, T.B. Boone, Bullet Boone and Joe Ray Boone; sister, Neama Trevino.

Funeral Services for Maudie will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 30, 2015, in the Chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, 120 South Broadway, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, SW 104th & Walker, Oklahoma City, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
