Leila Collins Brooks was retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of First Baptist Church of Central.
She married Henry Brooks on October 2, 1921.
She was survived by four daughters and two sons, two brothers, Charlie Collins and Clyde Collins, and a sister, Floy Dyar, all of Central.
Her funeral was held Tuesday, July 26, 1988 at First Baptist Church.
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery.
