Maxine worked at the Oakdale Center for 20 years and enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and traveling.
She is survived by her children and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edward; second husband, Charles; grandsons, David, Edward Dayton Jr., Lyle Powers; brothers, Cecil, Arthur, Verne, Robert; and sisters, Beulah and Eva.
Memorials in memory of Maxine may be made to Grace Hospice.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 3:00 PM from Jansen Family Funeral Home, where friends may visit 12:00 PM till time of service. Pastor Bob Seath officiating.
