Erma Bare, 85, widow of Charles Bare, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Jonesboro, died Friday at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. She was born Feb. 16, 1891 in Mt. Carmel, to Calvin and Marinda McRobert Minniear. She married Charles A. Bare in Mt. Carmel on May 22, 1918. He died April 4, 1973.


Survivors are a daughter, Joane Polvika.


The funeral will be Tuesday at the chapel of the Norris and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
