He was a native of Glennville, an Army veteran, a retired plumber and a Shriner. He was a member of Clarkston Masonic Lodge No. 492 and Lilburn First Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Vesta S. Hagin of Lilburn; four children, Nona Stacks of Gainesville, Brenda Prats of Tucker, Roger Hagin of Tucker and Bill Wood of Alpharetta; four sisters, Frances Wise of Lawrenceville, Lois Hodges of Glennville, Ruth Kicklighter of Springfield and Jewel Lapham of Lilburn; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
