According to the periodical East Alabama Tap Roots Vol. 33 no. 1, page 52,July 1995 issue the Cemetery is located in Tallapoosa Co. Al. NW 1/4 SE 1/4 Sec 36 T21N R24 E 2.5 miles North of Waverly was surveyed March 1, 1995 by Robert McNutt. The entire area is wooded pine forest. The cemetery has 3 to 5 hardwood trees and is on the crest of a small knoll. It is in fair to good condition but receives no added care. Only one grave is identified although there are about 15 others nearby. In The Sacred Memory of Anney W. Colley wife and consort of John Colley She expired in February 1836 Aged 37 years. The grave is out of native rock & is 52 inches high, 42 inches wide, & 5.5 to 6 inches thick and has an oval top.
