Actress. Daughter of Jazz Pianist Earl "Fatha" Hines, died in Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco of a Kidney Disorder (Bright's Disease).

Mrs. Wells, A Native Of Philadelphia, appeared as the babysitter in the television Series " Julia" featuring Diahann Carroll.
She Studied drama at the Pasadena (Calif.) Playhouse for a year and was also featured in episodes of the television Series "Marcus Welby M.D." and "Emergency"
Besides her father, Survivors include her mother Janie Moses; and her husband, David Wells. Preceding her in death, younger sister, Tosca Hines Greene.
Other than her Television Roles, She was in a handful of motion pictures like, "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" (1974) "Hit!" (1973) "Welcome To Arrow Beach" (1974) and "Private Duty Nurses" (1971)
Had a sister (Tosca) who passed away in 1976, From a drug overdose at 22 year old.
For the most part retiring from films in 1978. She moved to Manhattan, New York where She lived for a good amount of years.
