She was born Oct. 2, 1934, in Briggs, to Henry and Bertha Parker Leifester.
She was a life member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Post 4692 of Bryan.
Survivors include: her husband, David Decker of Killeen; a son, Dale Shipley of Kennessaw, Ga.; step-son, Bill Decker of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Debra Corder of South Lake; two step-daughters, Linda Simpson of Weston Super-Mare, England, and Audrey Hartman of Gridley, Calif.; three brothers, James Henry Leifester of Killeen, George Leifester of Belton and Winston Leifester of Rockport; and three sisters, Carlita Fox of San Antonio, Novine Heathcott of Aspermont, and Glenda Castell of Killeen.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William E. Shipley, on Dec. 6, 1971.
