DIED - In Adel, Iowa on Monday, December 19, 1881, Mrs. hannah Hutchins, aged 81 years:
The deceased was born in North Carolina, Sept. 22, 1801 and had resided in Dallas County 17 years, 12 years of which she made her home with her daughter Mrs. Preston of this place, where she was at the time of her death. Although so aged up to within a few days of her death she was exceptionally strong. The remains were laid to rest yesterday afternoon at the Miller grave-yard, east of town.
