Sarah Denison, dau. of Edward Denison and Elizabeth Weld, b. of record Nov. 25 (bapt. Dec. 6), 1657 at Roxbury, Mass. where she d. of record Nov. 15, 1710.

Sarah is assumed to be interred at Roxbury's Eustice Street Cemetery, formerly known as the Eliot Cemetery, which served as Roxbury's primary burying place from soon after Roxbury's beginning in 1630. In 1846 the Town of Roxbury was dissolved and absorbed by the City of Boston. If Sarah once had a gravestone it has long since decayed away.

On an unrecorded date by early 1677, Sarah m. Thomas Robinson, Jr., s. of Thomas Robinson by his 2nd wife Mary Cogan, bapt. Mar. 5, 1653/4 at Scituate, Mass. (2nd Ch. Rec.) On June 11, 1690 at 36 years of age at Roxbury, Thomas wrote his will, which was not probated until July 30, 1700. However, the last child of the family was born three months before he wrote his will and very likely Thomas was killed as an English combatant in the 1690 Phips Expedition from Massachusetts against the French at Louisborg in present-day Nova Scotia. No record of Thomas' death exists.

Sarah Denison and Thomas Robinson had the following five children:

• i. Thomas Robinson, 3rd, b. of record June 26, 1707 at Roxbury, Mass., named in his father's 1690 will and d. Feb. 15, 1729/30; m. June 26, 1707 at Boston (by Rev. Ebenezer Pemberton), Sarah Beswick, who d. prior to Thomas. There are no known children of the marriage. Sarah may well have been Thomas half-cousin, bp. Sept. 29, 1675 at Radcliffe, Lancashire, England, dau. of Rev. Charles Beswick and Silence Symonds. Sarah's mother was the dau. of Robert Symonds and Elizabeth Boyes, latter the sister of Thomas' father's 1st wife Silence Boyes.

• ii. Sarah Robinson, bapt. Dec 28, 1680 at Boston's Old South Church, named in her father's 1690 will and d. on a currently unknown date; m. 1) May 4, 1704 at Boston (by Rev. Samuel Willard), John Ingoldsby (q.v.) by whom she had dau. Elizabeth. Sarah m. 2) May 27, 1707 at Boston, John Perry, by whom she had at least two children both of record at Marlborough, Mass.

• iii. Joseph Robinson, bapt. Nov. 20, 1682 at Boston's Old South Church, but is not named in his father's 1690 will and likely died in infancy.

• iv. Elizabeth Robinson, b. of record Sept. 26, 1686 at Boston, bapt. there Oct. 20, 1687 at Boston's Old South Church, is not named in her father's 1690 will and likely died in infancy.

• v. James Robinson, b. of record Mar. 15, 1689/90 at Roxbury, Mass., is named in his father's will and d. in Mar. 1762 at Hardwick, Mass.; m. July 3, 1711 at Roxbury, Patience Ruggles, dau. of Capt.
