Ruth H. Knabe

Services for Ruth H. Knabe, 86, of Hot Springs, Ark., and formerly of Mount Prospect, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb, 28, 1992, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 13, 1906, in Niles Center, Ill.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.

She died Feb. 24, 1992, in St. Joseph Hospital, Hot Springs, Ark.

Survivors include her sons, Paul (Margaret), Robert (Eileen), Donald (June), and Charles (Rebecca) Knabe; daughters Alice Knabe, Bernice (Lloyd) Brandau and Ruth Knabe; brothers Oscar and Louis Maierhofer; sisters, Loraine Peters, Mildred Carneahl, Alice Bornhoff, Evelyn Sander; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul H. Knabe; brothers Robert, Arthur and Rudolph Maierhofer and Elizabeth Plath and Virginia Dvoracek.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2101 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Ill. 60005.
