Born August 10, 1927, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William A. Faust, Sr. and Leola (Ivey) Faust.
A graduate of Spartanburg High School, she was a retired seamstress and a member of Second Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold A. George, Jr. of Columbia, and Philip Lee George of Spartanburg; three brothers, C. E. Faust, Richard Faust, and Billy Burgess; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margie Faust Gray; and a brother, William A. Faust, Jr.
Visitation was held at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Steven H. Rhodes.
