!Sarah was first married to Daniel G. Wright who died in the Civil War in Richmond of mumps while he was a POW. Sarah moved ito live with her mother Elizabeth "Betsey" Easterling Odom at her farm in Brightsville, Marlboro County, SC. Everything they owned was taken by the Union Army as they advanced on Sherman as the civil war raged.

The date on the tombstone must be in error. Her sister Nancy is 15 in the 1850 census and Sarah is listed as 13. Nancy is recorded as being born 01 Oct 1834 on her tombstone so Sarahs could not have been born the same year. She is two years younger.
