Deceased Name: Lorraine P. Keyser
Lorraine P. Keyser, 88, of Compton, died on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Warren Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 30, 1927, in Rileyville and was a daughter of the late Ronald T. Presgraves and Lena Good Presgraves.
Mrs. Keyser was a textile worker for 20 years and attended Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband James M. Keyser and husband C. Earl Hilliard.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Keyser-Bryant of Stanley, and Betsy Keyser Munson of White Post; two sons, James D. Keyser of Middletown, and C. Ronald Keyser of Luray; a brother, Barry Presgraves of Luray; two sisters, Janice Courtney of Stanley, and Wanda Weakley of Richmond; 17 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Loring Keyser; a brother, Douglas Delano Presgraves; four sisters, Loris Cubbage, Norma Breeden, Patsy Hilliard and Elizabeth Williams; two stepdaughters, Evelyn M. Kegley and Doris G. Engel; and a stepson, Bobby L. Keyser. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Hopkins and Pastor Paul Strassner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
