Doris Williams better known as "Sunflower" went home to be with her Lord March 22, 2015.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at Abundant New Life Assembly of God, 1905 Monte Vista, in Waco, with Deryl LeBlanc officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
Doris was born March 2, 1925 in Temple, Texas, to John F. and Hettie (Ricketson) Alexander.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Darrelle F. Williams; and granddaughter, Tonya Mattix.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Bodiford and husband, Billy, and Janice Mattix; grandchildren, Stacy Harvey and husband Lee, Tracy, Gray and husband, Nathan, Kerri Moore, Keith Jackson and wife, Tonia, and Kevin Jackson; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Alyne Yoakum; and a host of other family friends, and church family.Sign the Guest Book at www.wacotrib.com
