Shirley Marie (Miller) Augustine was born April 10, 1925, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to William and Augusta Miller. She died March 9, 2015, in Meridian, Idaho, with her daughter, Linda, and Linda’s husband, Pete, by her side.

On February 28, 1946, Shirley married Phil Augustine, in Ellis, Kansas. They moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma where they became of parents of a son, Danny Lee, in 1947, and a daughter, Linda Sue, in 1948.

The family moved to Salina where Phil owned Augustine Furniture. Shirley was an avid bowler and especially proud of her membership in the 600 Club.

Shirley and Phil were married for 45 years before they divorced. Their son, Danny, died in April 1997. Shirley moved to Omaha and made her home with Linda until their move to Meridian, Idaho.

Shirley was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; grandson, David Nielsen and his wife Amy; great grandchildren Allie and Jake; and by her youngest brother, Bill Miller.
