Obituary for Lavada Ford
Lavada Ford, 74, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died March 20, 2015 at Washington Regional Hospital, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born July 4, 1940, in Guymon, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Rosen Eual and Dora Bell (Haynes) McCoy. Lavada was a longtime resident of the area coming from the Oklahoma panhandle. She and C.J. Ford were married May 19, 1957. Lavada was the church secretary for First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs for many years and worked for Wal Mart. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Lavada was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include son Coy Ford and wife Pat of Meeteetse, Wyoming; daughter Jaleta Ford Boyd of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren Jeremy Boyd and wife Victoria of Springdale, Arkansas, Misty Parker and husband Mike of Lincoln, Arkansas and Clint Ford of Bentonville, Arkansas; great grandchildren Jackson, Ruby, Hailey, Luke and Addison; brother Harlen Ray McCoy of Logan, New Mexico; sister Lorraine Rothrock of Weatherford, Texas; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Dr. Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
