Lydia Felton was born in Whitrup, Kansas November 29, 1882, the daughter of August and Marie Setzkorn Ihlenfeld. Later on she moved by covered wagon with her family to Hardar, Nebraska. In 1904 the family came to Minnesota. On October 3, 1907 she was united in marriage to William Felton at Alexandria, Minnesota.
She is survived by one daughter: Ruth (Mrs. Walter Breit) of Napa, California; one son, Louis Felton of Woodland, California; also surviving are six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William, and one son, Edward, and two sisters: Emma Wachter and Wonda Fiebranz, one grandson Norman Breit.
Funeral services were held July 29, 1977 at Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, Minnesota. Rev. K. K. Hill officiating. Interment was in Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria, Minnesota. Pallbearers were John Meyer, Harold Fiebranz, Arthur Fiebranz, Francis Paulzine, Alvin Hansen, Ronald Hansen.
