Bettie McMahon, 90, of Westville, passed away at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
Bettie was born June 6, 1924, in Danville to Sam and Ruth Biggs Greece.
She married John Byers. He preceded her in death. She later married Jim McMahon, and he also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, John Byers Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two daughters, Ann Osborne of Westville and Barbara Richards of Westville; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Bettie had been a barber for over 30 years and worked at several jobs including Walgreens and driving children. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, crocheting and visiting with people. Bettie also belonged to Westville Legion Auxiliary.
