Eula Pauline "Gibson" Hawkins, 94, of Elizabethtown died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Hart County, a teacher at Sonora Elementary and Clarkson Elementary Schools; and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church since December 1974. She volunteered at Glendale Home and Hardin Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She loved all children. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Gibson; husband, Clyde Albert Hawkins; parents, Buell and Elizabeth Puckett Craddock; brothers, Basil Craddock, Cecil Craddock, Virgil Craddock and Andrew Craddock; and a sister, Beulah Goose. She is survived by her daughter, brother, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild,. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and continue after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
