Mrs. Barrick was a native of Fort Smith, Ark., and lived in Riverbank 64 years.
She was a cannery worker, waitress and a cook.
She was a member of Acorn Rebekah Lodge 261 of Oakdale and El Rio Chapter 333 Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy Eugene Dyer of Modesto and Barbara Gail Trager of Riverbank; and six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Gaines; and son Gilbert Charles "Kokomo" Barrick.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.
A chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial at Lakewood Memorial Park.
