Son of Charles Morton Fox and Mary Elizabeth Harrington, Morton Raymond Fox was the brother Maybelle [Fox] Hagen and of Titanic victim, Stanley H. Fox. He was the husband of four, father of one.

Morton first married Inez E "Ina" Welch 29 Apr 1896 in Rochester, Monroe Co., NY. His second wife, Georgiana [maiden name unknown], 1873-1903 was the mother of his only known child, Charles C. Fox, b. 1902.

Morton next wed Lydia C. Annis, who unfairly has gone down in Rochester history as the woman "who represented herself as the sister-in-law" of Morton's brother, Stanley, claiming his body for insurance fraud. The 1920 census shows them still living together in January as husband and wife [see Lydia's memorial for listing].

However, in July of that same year, Morton married Grace L. Tucker in Niagara Falls, Welland Co, Ontario, CAN. On the 1930 census, Morton reported that he was divorced.
