The following is from the Hopkinsville Kentuckian, Nov. 21, 1916 (copyright long-since expired). It came from an OCR reading but was comparatively clean:

MRS. CASON BURIED MONDAY

Interment Was in Rosedale Cemetery at Pembroke

Mrs. Sarah L. Cason died at her home on North Main street Sunday morning in the 81st year of her age. Mrs. Cason was Miss Sarah Brown before her marriage, being one of a family of thirteen children, ten brothers and three sisters. In 1857 the ten brothers rode together into the amphitheatre of the old fair grounds and their mother was presented with a premium by the fair company as the mother of the largest family present. The only survivor of the family now is Judge Milton D. Brown, of Indianapolis, Ind. Mrs. Cason's children who survive her are Robert and Tom Cason, Mrs. J. E. Bouldin and Misses Emma, Mollie, Sallie and Nell Cason. She was a life-long member of the Methodist church. Brief services were held at the residence at 10 o'clock yesterday morning by Rev. Virgil Elgin and Rev. Mr. Gordon, of Pembroke, and the body was taken to Pembroke for burial in Rosedale Cemetery. She was the widow of the late Jerome Cason.

The date of birth of Apr 1884 is from the 1900 census, but her obituary says she was 80 years old ("in the 81st year of her age") at the time of her death.
