Tony (sic) B. Martin Wednesday about 4 a.m. succumed (sic) to pneumonia following an attack of the Spanish Influenza. Mr. Martin was one of our best citizens and a good man, honored and respected in a wide circle of friends.
He was the proprietor of the Martin Barber Shop and enjoyed a large and lucrative business. He was buried Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Erick Cemetery. Only short services were held and those at the Cemetery tabernacle on account of the fear of danger in assembling large crowds together.
He is survived by a wife, two sons and a daughter, who have the sympathy of the entire community.
