Mrs. Judy Faye Greene

July 13, 1946 - March 16, 2015

Judy Faye Anderson Greene, 68, of Collettsville passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Mrs. Greene was born in Watauga County to the late Bynum Anderson and Lucy Hayes. She was a homemaker, a member of Mulvale Baptist Church, past president of the Collettsville PTA, leader of Caldwell County 4-H, Collettsville Homemakers Club, Collettsville Ruritan Club and founded the Caldwell County Scleroderma Support Group. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking and learning about her family history. Her last few years, she focused on spreading God's word by mailing inspirational cards to the community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Mae Trivette, Geneva Bentley and Verlee Cole, and a brother, Bill Anderson.

Survivors include her husband of the home; her daughters, and granddaughter of Wake Forest; her brother, Abington, VA; and numerous other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at Mulvale Baptist Church at with Pastor Brian Smith, Pastor Burl Greer and Pastor J. C. Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greene Family Cemetery.
