Funeral services for Zena Harriet Gibson, who died Sunday at the Erick Hospital, were held Tuesday, June 11, from the First Baptist Church. Richard Waters officiated.
Zena Harriet Webster was born October 14, 1904 in Erick, and lived in this area most of her life. She was married on December 21, 1959 to Houston Gibson. Mrs. Gibson was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Two sons preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Edward Dee Vines of Phillips, Texas; two step-sons, Raymond Gibson, Sayre, and Wilbur Gibson, Hereford, Texas; three step-daughters, Lucille Gibson, Oklahoma City, Ophelia Waldrip and Lois years, both of Arlington, Texas; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters, Irene Lowe, Ada Crane, and Dovie Webster, all of Erick; five brothers, Odie Webster, Albery Webster, Nolen Webster, and E. G. Webster, Jr., all of Erick, and Monroe Webster, of Hollis.
Pall bearers were C. L. Gibson, Wayne Gibson, Earl Gibson, Travis Johnson, C. L. Gallegly, and Eldon Hendrix.
Interment was in the Erick Cemetery with the Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
