Last Rites for James F. Ferguson Held Here Monday

Funeral services for James Franklin Ferguson, retired Tucumcari, New Mexico farmer and rancher, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Erick Church of Christ. Mr. Ferguson died at the Erick Hospital Thursday afternoon. He has been a resident of Erick only two weeks.
Officiating at the last rites was the minister of the local church, Bro. H. B. Frank Jr.
Born April 5, 1882 at Longview, Texas, he was married in January, 1904 to Katie Olivia Dean (sic) at Phlara, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1906. On December 13, 1910, he was married at Dalhart, Texas, to Willie Dean (sic).
Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of the home address; four daughters, Clota Valleau of Pasadena, Texas, Lillie (sic) Fletcher of Memphis, Tenn., Dillis Lavon of San Pablo, California, and Ava Jennie Ramsey of LaMarque, Texas; one son James Ferguson of Greenville, S.C.; 22 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.
Interment was in the Erick Cemetery with the Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
