Consuelo was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Severita García on May 30, 1917.
Consuelo was a Christian and a member of the Apostolic Assembly of Faith in Jesus Christ in Tecolotito, NM and was a prayer warrior, she would preach the Gospel and was the pastors wife. Her passion was to reach people in need and was five generations. Loved to crochet, a very strong source of support for the family, she was a very strong and wise women and always there for her family and caring for them through tough times through prayer and words of wisdom.
Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Giberto Arballo, sons, John Yabarra and Jesse García, granddaughters, Gloria and Martha Lucero and son-in-law, Homer Rodríguez.
Consuelo is survived by daughters, Gloria Lucero (Tony) of Tecolotito, NM and Connie Rodríguez of Idaho, grandchildren, Elizabeth Lucero, Tony Lucero III (Avedonia) all of Rio Rancho, NM, Rachel Oliva (Tom) of CA, Rebecca DeLeon (Bobby) of CA, Homer Rodríguez Jr. (Ashley) of ID, Joshua Rodríguez (Lisa) of CA, Johnny Ybarra (Yolanda) of CA, sister, Hortencia Castro and nephew, Cesar of TX, twenty one great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Prayer service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas, NM. Memorial service will be conducted on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at Rogers Chapel with Pastor Antonio Lucero Jr. and Pastor John Ybarra Officiating. Interment will be held at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, NM at 3:00 p.m. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Rachel Oliva, Tom Oliva, Angel Gallegos, Noemi Lucero, Rebecca De León and Joshua Rodríguez.
