Jessie Stauffenberg, a guest at Mountain City Convalescent Home, Hazleton, died Wednesday at Hazleton General Hospital. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of Henry and Esther (Smith) Swank. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hazleton.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry, (1951), son, Richard, and daughter, Jean Crouse. Surviving are son, Henry, Hazleton; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. from the Beltz-Petrilli Funeral Home, 235 E. Broad St. Rev. Stanley R. Trout will officiate. Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call one hour prior to service.
