Mrs. Addison Briggs, 83, of 5501 McKenna Rd. died Friday (Jan. 26, 1973) in a Madison hospital after a brief illness.

She was a retired private house nurse. The former Dorothy Hulbert was married to Addison Briggs in 1935. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Clair Puttkamer, 702 Interake Dr.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr. where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
