Obituary - "John Rust, 92, Native of Germany, Is Called" - John F. Rust, 92, a resident of Campbell county for 88 years, died Monday at the home of a son, Henry Rust, California, Ky. Among his survivors are 55 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Mr. Rust was born in Germany and came to Campbell county with his parents when he was four years old. He was a member of the Men's Society of St. Peter and Paul Church, Second 12-Mile road, Campbell county.
The nonagenarian leaves six sons, Jacob, who has operated Rust's Cafe at 10th and Monmouth streets, Newport, many tears; John, a Newport patrolman; Paul, of Cold Spring; Ignatius, of Newport; and Felix, of California; three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Rauch and Mrs. Sophia Schack, of California, and Mrs. Clara Bezold, of Newport, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Schalk, of California. Following prayers at the residence at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church. Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery. The John J. Radel funeral home, Newport, is in charge of
arrangements.
