"Patsy" was spoken about in the family as being part native American. Her great granddaughter passed down stories (and the family has a letter) of her spending a lot of time with "grandma Patsy", hunting for & helping her make native medicinal potions. But, because of the times, Patsy could have been part African and they tried to hide the fact by saying "Indian", so not sure yet.


After Patsy's husband Vinson died she married John Dillard Campbell in 1863 and probably had more children, one could have been a Henry B. Campbell. Patsy lived a long and productive life. I don't think she had more children she was 45 when she married John and was like 54 when Henry B was born.
