Lorraine L. Moore, 85, of West Des Moines died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Kavanaugh House in West Des Moines.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at McLaren's Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Mrs. Moore was born on March 15, 1919 in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of James and Myrtle (Bailey) Lennie. She graduated from Albia High School.
She married Charles Moore. Lorraine had been a sales clerk at Dahl's Pharmacy and Katz Drug.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis and his wife, Elizabeth Moore, of Des Moines and Dan and his wife, Julie Moore, of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Mindi, Michelle, Megan, Eric, David and Emily; a great-grandson, Isaiah; and a sister, Darlene Allen of Bondurant, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on July 1, 1985; three brothers, Jimmie and Harry Lennie and a twin brother, Lester Lennie; and a sister, Maxine Merscher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the West Des Moines Christian Church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
