Albert Wauters, age 77 died January 29 in Saskatoon. He was born on a farm near Vicount in 1929. He lived his entire life in Saskatchewan except for training in the Armed Forces and service with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Germany. Al farmed, worked in construction, as a mechanic and as an automotive partsman. For 12 years before his retirement he was a Commissionaire. Al was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the Food Bank, as well as visiting at care homes. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, son and daughter and their families. A memorial service was held at Grace Lutheran Church on Feb. 2, 2007. Memorial donations were directed to the Lutheran Hour, the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Kidney Foundation.
