HYDE - John F. Allison, 78, of Hyde died Wednesday Morning.
Born April 7, 1893, in Coalport, he was a son of Harry and Helen Allison, both decreased.
Mr. Allison was self-employed as a plumbing contractor. He lived and worked in Pittsburg for many years before moving here and operating Allison Plumbing Co.
He was a member o the Old Town Sportsmen's Association.
In addition to his wife, the former Mary Jovich, he leaves these children: Mrs. Fay Douglas, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Joy Bernstein, New York; step-children: Jack Jovich, Youngstown, Ohio; Mark Jovich, Clearfield; Mrs. Mary Ann Sower, Annville, Pa.; Mrs. Sue Roland, Falls Church, Va.
Two sisters and a brother also survive: Mrs. E. E. Strohn, Erie; Mrs. Bert Layton, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Robert J., Clearfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. today.
