Reuben Hipsley, one of the best known men in the south part of Porter and Lake counties, died at his home in Crown Point yesterday afternoon. The funeral will be held at Salem church tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock, and interment will be in Salem cemetery. Mr. Hipsley lived at Palmer station for many years, and there owned a fine farm. Mrs. Irving Baird, of Boone Grove, is a daughter, and Mrs. Hipsley and two other married daughters survive besides. Mr. Hipsley was about 71 years old.
