Alan Carrick Arehart, 44, of Woodbridge, Virginia died March 10, 2015 at his residence.
Alan was born August 18, 1970 in Harrisonburg, VA and was a son of Gary A. Arehart of Woodstock, and the late Fleta Carrick Arehart.
He received his Masters Degree from JMU, and was a principal program planning and control analyst for Alion Science and Technology in Washington DC.
Surviving in addition to his father, are two brothers, Andy Arehart and wife, Heather, of Stafford, and Adam Arehart and wife Angela of PA; one sister, Anya Ludolf and husband John of San Antonio, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rev. David Burrough will conduct a funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Grandle Funeral Home chapel in Broadway. Burial will be in St. Matthew's cemetery in New Market.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandle Funeral Home. The casket will be closed.
