A. Leon Jeffreys, 79, of Newnan, formerly of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, August 31, 2008. He was born February 15, 1929 in Beaverton, AL to the late Verdo & Fannie Seaborn Jeffreys. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Mary Helen Sims Jeffreys; sister, Dorothy Jeffreys; and brother, Rayford Jeffreys.
Mr. Jeffreys was the Founder & C.E.O. of Jeffreys Steel Co. prior to his retirement and was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, Al.
