Joann McDaniel, 79 of Star City, died Wednesday, March 11, 1015 at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City.
She was born July 25, 1935 in Sherrill to the late James and Cynthia Harrison Camp.
She worked for Beverly Enterprise Nursing Home as a CNA for 10 years and she worked for the State of Arkansas as a home health nurse for 12 years before retiring. She was of the Baptist faith.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Willard McDaniel; son, Raymond McDaniel and daughter, Linda Marcell McDaniel.
Survivors include 2 sons, Bruce McDaniel of Star City and Timothy McDaniel of Glendale; 4 daughters, Debbie (Tom) Byrne of Glendale, Polly (Randy) White of Glendale, Cindy (David) Chadick of Star City and Fran “LuLu” (DeWayne) Stucks of Hensley; 1 brother, Jimmy (Dorothy) Camp of El Paso, TX; 1 sister, Peggy (Joe) Pennington of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of dearly loved friends.
Funeral Services are 10:00AM Saturday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dave Henderson officiating.
Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
Burial at Rowell Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Edward Dennis and Charlie Legg.
