Kay, as she was known, was born on Nov. 18, 1946, in Douglas, Ariz., to Walter Hopson and Beth Forshay. During Kay’s youth she traveled the world with her mother and stepfather, Kenneth Bushman, USAF retired. Kay was an experienced world traveler before she married Master Chief Lewis Nibert on Sept. 3, 1966. During her marriage, Kay continued her travels with her husband and children.
Kay excelled as a flight attendant, executive administrative assistant with Motorola and QSI and later as a Realtor with Century 21. Kay was outgoing and easily made friends through her wit and everpresent positive attitude toward life. Her association with a close group of friends over the last 10 years of her life brought her great joy."
