WILSON, VIRGINIA (McCLENDON), 85, formerly of Blackstone Avenue, Warwick and Sea Breeze Drive, North Kingstown, died August 31, 2005 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.
She was the wife of the late Ralph H. Worrall and the late Richard T. Wilson.
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Travis J. and Julia E. (Staples) McClendon, she lived in Warwick for over 60 years.
Mrs. Wilson was a teacher in the Warwick Public Schools for 20 years before retiring in 1984. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University, and received her masters degree from the University of Rhode Island.
She was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wickford.
She is survived by a son, two stepsons, six grandchildren, a great-grandson, and a sister-in-law.
