Arlene, of Lansing, Michigan, was the daughter of the late Albert and Wilma Bauerle. She passed away on March 9, 2015 at the age of 96.
She was a lifelong Lansing resident, graduating from Eastern High School in 1936 and Acme Business College in 1938. She worked for the Lansing Public School District. Arlene married James N. Brooks in 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James and brother, Delos Bauerle.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mary Sue Brooks; son, Douglas (Linda) Brooks; granddaughter, Jennifer (Charles) Strezo; and great grandson, Reid Strezo.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church, Lansing, MI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church (Memorial Fund) in memory of Arlene.
