The funeral of Mr. Christopher Allen took place yesterday afternoon from the Broad Street Methodist church at 4 o'clock. Rev. W.H. McNeal officiated. The interment was made in Magnolia cemetery, where a profusion of flowers were placed on the grave. The pall bearers were Messrs. J.W. Taggart, J.B. Hendrix, J.B. Chigazala, E. Pillard, J.O. Brown and J.M. Hanson.
