Ricky W. Brady, 57, passed away at York Hospital on Monday, March 9, 2015. He was the loving husband of Donna J. (Gummel) Brady. Together they shared over 36 years of marriage. Ricky was born in Hanover on January 24, 1958 and was the son of the late Janet (Weaver) and William Brady. He attended New Oxford High School. He currently worked as a parts runner for New Oxford Mechanical. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and four wheeling. He was a member of Porters Fire Co. and the Snow Shoe Rails and Trails Assoc. In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his son, Joshua Brady of Hanover; and his daughter, Andrea Brady of Spring Grove. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas and William Brady; and his sisters, Janice Durbin, Lisa Lefever, Teresa O'Conner, Jeanne Brady; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc. 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, with the Rev. Leroy Bunker officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Jefferson Cemetery.
