His life had many hardships, losses and his health issues were Diabetic plus Tuberculosis. He died in the Nashville TB Hospital where he was confined. In those days where Tuberculosis was highly contagious, Visitation was monitored. I never met my Great Grandfather, due to his TB hospital confinement as children were not allowed to visit.

This is my maternal Grand Father.
I revisited the Cemetery this past summer of June 2023 and could not locate his burial spot, it's such a large cemetery and there was not enough staff members to help take me to help me with his grave.
