Mrs. Gribble, widow of Robert Gribble, died at her home on Lind Street at 4:10 p. m. Saturday. She had been in failing health for several months and suffered a stroke of paralysis about three weeks ago. Mrs. Gribble was 85.
A native of Warren County, Mrs. Gribble was born October 18, 1868 at Dibrell. She was a daughter of Robert Keaton and Mollie Wilson Keaton and she was married to Mr. Gribble and they resided at Dibrell until 1909.
He was a prominent McMinnville mule dealer for a number of years and died March 4, 1933.
Mrs. Gribble was active in temperance work here for a number of years as well as garden club activities and church organizational work. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church for 68 years.
Survivors include two sons, Martin Gribble, McMinnville, and Rayburn Gribble, Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Bula Robinson and Mrs. Leon McGregor, McMinnville. Also seven grandchildren.∼wife of Robert Gribble
